RIDE from the Command Line
I am looking for a similar behaviour for RIDE users and ODE (is this right?) users.
So I tried starting RIDE from command line on my Mac.
Instead of ending up in a workspace, I am ending up in "RIDE Dyalog Session" Window asking for some parameters options. Ok just one click away the workspace waits for me.
Now started using dcfg, aplc, apln, etc files. Everything is working well with ODE and the dyalog terminal version. But RIDE is ignoring any arguments/options given on the command line, like Load and ConfigFile.
I understand that RIDE is just a client running a dyalog session. But with Link, dcfg, aplf, apln, ... around the corner (we plan to migrate from SALT to Link). I expect RIDE on Mac, Linux to behave a little bit more like ODE on Windows. Not to mention clicking an apl file, dcfg file, etc.
Maybe I am missing a whole RIDE workflow.
Any help on this is appreciated,
Karsten
