HOPL IV

Postby Roger|Dyalog on Mon Jun 15, 2020 5:54 pm

HOPL, History of Programming Languages, is a series of papers and conferences published and held roughly every 14 years. HOPL I was in 1978 and had a paper on APL, The Evolution of APL by Adin Falkoff and Ken Iverson.

The HOPL IV papers have just been published and are available for free download at https://dl.acm.org/toc/pacmpl/2020/4/HOPL. There are 19 papers plus front and back matters. One of the 19 papers is on APL.

(The HOPL IV conference would be taking place in London, UK this week, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 virus.)
