Where to place book code?

Postby dtelford on Tue Jun 11, 2019 1:56 am

I have the APL code for the book "Abstract Algebra A Computational Approach" by Professor Charles Sims. He had given me permission to place the code in an archive or library, but there doesn't seem to be any active APL archives/libraries that I can find. The files are in ATF format, and I converted them to the Dyalog .dws format.

The Classlib library has several hundred algebra functions, including multi-precision arithmetic. This library appears to be well coded and efficient.

These days, the "obvious" place to put them would be in a GitHub repository, in the form of text files (typically one per function). If you send your workspace to support@dyalog.com, we can take a look at them and demonstrate to you what that would look like.
