Problems with entering ⍲ (Nand) under Microsoft Windows

Postby AndyS|Dyalog on Tue Dec 21, 2010 3:10 pm

If you find that hitting Shift-ctrl-0 doesn't generate the expected ⍲ (Nand), but rather does nothing, then you've hit a known problem with Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 10.

In the "Type here to search" field next to the Start button, search for "Advanced Keyboard Settings".

Then go into: Input Language Hotkeys, Change Key Sequence…

Change "Switch Input Language" and "Switch Keyboard Layout" to Not Assigned.

Even if it is already Not Assigned, click another radio button and back to Not Assigned again.

We advise this as Microsoft Windows sometimes forgets the settings.

Be aware that this may affect your ability to use keyboard shortcuts to switch between input languages ...
