Upgrading to a new version of Dyalog APL under Windows
All versions of Dyalog APL are located in different directories, so it is possible to have multiple versions and editions of Dyalog APL installed on the same PC, running at the same time.
You may find interoperability issues: for example, you cannot )LOAD or ⎕cy a workspace in an earlier version than it was saved with. And workspaces saved with the Unicode editions may not be loadable in Classic editions if you have characters which do not map onto the Classic ⎕avu. More information can be found at http://www.dyalog.com/help/12.1/html/relnotes12.1/v12.1%20interoperability.htm
