Changing namespace under program control

When developing, say you want to change the current namespace under program control. That is, at the end of a function, I want to effectively automatically execute a )CS #.This.That.TheOther. ⎕CS is not the vehicle for this. I suppose enqueueing key strokes may be a technique. Is there some obvious way I'm missing for doing this?
