Copy/Paste from 10.1?

Copy/Paste from 10.1?

I like this forum's subtitle "Silly questions" and feel at home here ;)

Once it was possible to edit a fn in 12.1u and paste from 10.1 - but now "Paste non-unicode" just creates a royal mess (see screenie). Bug or feature?
